Kommunikationen om deres mangler har været nogenlunde. De svarer og skriver tilbage når man sender dem en mail. De svarer dog af og til med en underliggende tone af latent aggression og at man skal føle sig presset til at acceptere deres fejl. Hvis ikke, kan man rekvirerer en syn og skønsmand. Det er det sidste man magter ovenpå en flytning – det er et længere stykke arbejde. Og i sidste ende skal det bare gøres ordentligt fra starten, eller når man pænt påpeger det der skal udbedres!
De har haft en gulvsliber ude, som nogle steder har brugt for meget lak og andre steder for lidt. Med andre ord har vi fået hvide plamager i nogle hjørner og andre steder mangler der lak og er små pletter med den gamle gulvfarve.
Der er flere tydelige penselstrøg ved dørpaneler og langs paneler.
Vi har også fået et hul i gulvet og en lang ridse i gangen. De sagde de ville fixe hullet da de kom ud for 2. gang. Det gjorde de desværre ikke. Og ridsen kom da de var der 2. gang for at udbrede det jeg havde skrevet til dem, manglede.
Jeg har sendt billeder til Stefan af ovenstående fejl – som han også først accepterede og sendte en ud for at udbedre. Da dette ikke blev bedre - tværtimod, ændrede tonen sig. Herefter duede billederne ikke længere og pludselig havde han selv været i huset og alt så jo godt ud. 10 minutter efter jeg skrev til dem at jeg ville svare dem senere (jeg havde travlt med andet) sendte Stefan pludselig en rykker (gør hvad jeg siger-agtigt eller du får rykkere mv.)
Vi har bedt om et forholdsvis lille nedslag i prisen, da dette måtte synes rimeligt med tanke på vi skal se på et gulv der ikke er helt færdigbehandlet. Dette har han afvist. Det ærgrer mig, fordi vi egentligt bare vil afslutte sagen.

We recently went through a deeply unsatisfactory experience with Gulvkanonen regarding a sanding job that was poorly executed. Initially, we hired them with the expectation of professional craftsmanship (after all they have really good ratings on trustpilot). However we faced several issues that made our experience incredibly frustrating.
The job itself was executed poorly, with circular scratches on the surfaces, visible imperfections, and areas where dark spots that were not there prior were present. We were unsure whether this was the normal outcome of such job, so we asked an expert from another company to review the work. This person concluded that the job was not of high quality, and that a polish would not be sufficient to make the dark spots go, but that the only solution was a full re-sanding.
After expressing our concerns to the Gulvkanonen team, they argued that there was a conflict of interests at play, and asked to send an expert from their side. We agreed so they sent one of their colleagues. He agreed that the job was not of high quality and that only a full re-sanding would fix our floors. He took pictures and left.
He called 5 minutes later, stating that he had talked to somebody at Gulvkanonen and was instructed to come back and polish the floors. We were very surprised by this and declined the offer. We were left wondering if he was being pressured to implement a solution that didn’t align with his professional evaluation (this is not an accusation, but it’s how the situation appeared to us).
At this point Gulvkanonen suggested we need a third opinion. This not only came across like a waste of our collective time, but also raised serious concerns about the integrity of their work, as we had no guarantees that the next person wouldn’t be “prepped” on what to tell us.
After that the communication became increasingly vague and evasive. Given that at this point we cannot really trust that there is not a conflict of interest on Gulvkanonen’s side, we requested a full refund as we would need to find another company to do a full re-sanding at full cost.
In their latest response, it was reiterated that they will not provide a refund for the inadequate services rendered, offering only 500 DKK as compensation. This is not only insulting, but it also demonstrates a total disregard for the significant investment we've made—16,500 DKK—that will now need to be entirely spent again if we want to have our floors done. To put it bluntly, 500 DKK represents a 3% of our payment, which is completely inadequate given the circumstances.
Additionally, it is only now that we’ve noticed concerning reviews on the site "Anmeld-haandvaerker", where Gulvkanonen has received an average score of only 1.8 out of 5. It seems we are not alone in facing these disappointing service levels, and it’s evident that our experience is part of a larger pattern of issues. We urge potential customers to consider this feedback before hiring.
We understand that the company is within its rights to protect itself from fraudulent claims; however, we are simply customers who have received subpar work and have taken every necessary step and provided all evidence to resolve it. We paid their invoice straight away in good faith, yet here we stand facing almost two months of frustration over an issue that should have been handled promptly and professionally.
Do not be in our position! I urge anybody to consider to use a company that provides a formal satisfaction guarantee in written. We can at this point state with certainty that this is a company extremely comfortable with keeping the money of an very dissatisfied customer.
It’s our hope that this review will prompt a serious reconsideration of our case. We collectively deserve better as clients who have trusted Gulvkanonen to deliver quality workmanship.
PS. As addendum, in our last communication it was brought up that the way to ensure Gulvkanonen’s rights was to go through mediation with the authorities. We do not intent to violate any rights, so we are OK with proceeding that way. A possible outcome is that the conclusion is that they will be given the chance to re-do the job. Again, Gulvkanonen is very comfortable with this scenario despite the fact that we have made it extremely clear (several times) that we do not want to work with them any longer, and we do not trust them to be in our home again. I urge everybody to consider whether this is the type of partner you want to entrust with such critical step as you move to a new home.
